Patcon delivered an extensive demonstration of his work extending the Polis platform for better opinion mapping and collective sense-making:

Polis Fundamentals

• Core concept: A tool for large-scale opinion gathering using agree/disagree/pass responses to statements
• Clustering: Groups participants by opinion patterns, revealing hidden coalitions and boundaries
• Visualization: Shows groups as clusters on a 2D map representing opinion space
• Applications: Used for public consultations, community decision-making, and understanding complex social dynamics
